Album
Bull of the Woods is the third and final studio album by the 13th Floor Elevators, on which they worked as a group. The album is noted for its moody, dreamy, and fuzzed-out psychedelic sound, and was released by International Artists. The album project commenced shortly after the completion of Easter Everywhere, tentatively entitled Beauty and the Beast and later A Love That's Sound. It featured not only the 1968 lineup of Roky Erickson, Stacy Sutherland, Tommy Hall, Danny Thomas, and Duke Davis, but. Livin on barnyard blues till then never another rose and the thorn down by the river scarlet and gold street song dr. doom with you may the circle the 13th Floor Elevators' debut album caught them as they were still buzzing with the excitement of their musical journey through inner space and Easter Everywhere found them exploring the possibilities of the recording studio as well as their own creative process, their final studio set, 1969's Bull of the Woods, documented a band that was running out of gas. Album 1968 19 Songs. The 13th Floor Elevators - Scarlet And Gold. The 13th Floor Elevators - Street Song. The 13th Floor Elevators - Doctor Doom. The 13th Floor Elevators - With You. The 13th Floor Elevators - May The Circle Remain Unbroken. The 13th Floor Elevators - Fire In My Bones. The 13th Floor Elevators were an American rock band from Austin, Texas, United States, formed by guitarist and vocalist Roky Erickson, electric jug player Tommy Hall, and guitarist Stacy Sutherland. The band was together from 1965 to 1969, and during that period released four albums and seven singles for the International Artists record label. The Elevators were the first band to refer to their music as psychedelic rock, with the first-known use of the term appearing on their business card in January. On Bull of the Woods, Stacy Sutherland took over most of the songwriting and vocals for the Elevators with amazing results. Stacys style mixes the bluesy with the transcendental, resulting in fuzzy cosmic honky-tonk jams that drip with the weird melancholy of a weary traveler to other dimensions. Til Then features some brilliant slide-guitar playing that outshines anything Sterling Morrison ever did for the Velvet Underground. 13th Floor Elevators : Bull of the Woods,альбом, рецезия, трек-лист, mp3, тексты песен
